Francois & Patty’s Norton Art Gallery Wedding in West Palm Beach

I am not one of those people who does a very good job of separating my personal and professional lives. Never have been and don't foresee ever being. So when I get the opportunity to shoot weddings with a personal connection, I find it really fulfilling. That is one of the reasons I do every thing I can to truly get to know my clients and develop a personal relationship with each and every one.Patty's wedding was an honor to photograph because although she has spent the last several years in Australia, she and my husband Dave grew up together. They played together as babies, went to church and school together as kids and sang in a choir together in high school. I had always heard such wonderful things about her so when I got the first email sharing the news of her engagement and upcoming Florida wedding, I was thrilled!Patty & Francois are both biologists so it was important that their wedding was planned with the utmost care and respect for mother nature. They hand-picked the citrus for their table decor from the family's property and made granola as favors for all of their guests. On the way to the first look I asked Francois what his favorite thing about Patty was and he said (in a charming french accent) that she was "natural", he went on to describe how genuinely beautiful she was inside and out and I have to agree with him.
